About

My name is Christina. I was born and raised in Southern California. I work part time as an office manager at an infant/toddler daycare and also go to school part time. I have my AA in Early Childhood Development and am now pursuing my BS in business administration with an emphasis on information technology management. I take tons of pictures that are mostly of my dog. Follow me!

Smile every chance you get. Not because life has been easy, perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated, but because you choose to be happy and grateful for all the good things you do have and all the problems you know you don’t have.

In 2008, I moved up to Northern California and I love it here; however, I do miss my friends and family in Southern California. When I first moved up here, I went down to SoCal 8 times the first year but now that I'm working and going to school, I probably go down twice a year. I always try to go at least once a year. Whenever I'm down there, I need to go to Disneyland. When I lived in SoCal, I went to Disneyland at least once a week so I miss it almost as much as I miss my friends and family.

Here is the world of imagination, hopes, and dreams. In this timeless land of enchantment, the age of chivalry, magic and make-believe are reborn - and fairy tales come true. Fantasyland is dedicated to the young-in-heart, to those who that when you wish upon a star, your dreams come true.

In September 2012, I decided that I wanted to have WLS. I got the referral from my PCP and started attending all the classes and meetings I needed to go to in order to get it done. Finally, I met with my surgeon and he said that I need to lose 20lbs to get the surgery and that's where I'm at right now. I never realized how hard it would be to lose the weight but I'm determined to do it. I did it once on Weight Watchers and I know I can do it again.

Anyone can give up; it is the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone would expect you to fall apart, now that is true strength - Chris Bradford

  2. Hi Christina! Glad I found this comment box. Constantly forget my google stuff and can never comment on your posts! Good work on the weightloss it is HARD work! Keep trying new things till you find what works for you. For me it was the blood sugar solution website. I got accepted into a beta for a new book the doc (mark hyman) was writing and have been going strong (and 30 pounds down AND A NORMAL WEIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE) since January. Just keep trying!

  3. Congrats on the WLS! I've been there and done that.. boy do I have so many stories to tell. I lost over 230lbs, was on Oprah, got pregnant and gained a ton back, and then ended up getting sick and having 80% of my stomach removed due to infection (and almost dying). It's been a journey and I still struggle to stay fit.
