Bridal Shower!

So my best friend is getting married, which is the main reason I went down to SoCal this past weekend... it was her bridal shower! It was really fun. I've only been to one bridal shower before this and I was only 13 or 14 when I went so I barely remember it.

My best friend's sister, who is the maid of honor, was the one who put the whole thing together. It was Hawaiian themed but not luau. I'm so sad I didn't take any pictures of the set up because it was beautiful. The picture shown is kind of how it was set up but not exactly. The bowl was filled with water and had tea candles in it. It was gorgeous!

There were games of course! The first game was "how well do you know the bride & groom" and I won that one! The other two were making a cake out of candy and making a wedding dress out of toilet paper (which my group won). Overall, I had a great time and it was nice seeing everyone! After the shower, my best friend, her family, and myself all went out to dinner. It was nice spending time with her!

The actual wedding is on April 14 so I'll be heading down again around that time. I still need to get my dress fitted. I'm going to do that this weekend. The dress is at the shop but I haven't been able to go over there to get it sized. This will be only the second wedding I've ever been to and first one I'm in! I'm definitely excited and can't wait to see my best friend get married!

Also, don't forget to enter my giveaway for Blog, Inc. (which ends this Friday!)
